An oxygen barrier layer can be added as needed to reduce oxygen permeability and extend the product's shelf life.
Currently, the packaging of soft drinks in the market mainly consists of PET bottles, composite aluminum foil bags, and cans. As homogenization competition becomes increasingly evident, improvements in packaging are undoubtedly one of the powerful means of differentiated competition. The self-supporting spout pouch combines the resealability of PET bottles with the fashion of composite aluminum foil bags, and it also has printing advantages that traditional beverage packaging cannot match. Due to the basic form of the self-supporting pouch, the display area of the spout pouch is significantly larger than that of PET bottles and superior to non-standing packaging like stand-up pouches. Of course, since spout pouches belong to the category of flexible packaging, they are currently not suitable for carbonated beverage packaging, but they have unique advantages in juice, dairy products, health drinks, and jelly foods.
